Bob (late-50s, rugged yet introspective) sits on the edge of a narrow cot, a Bible open in his hands. His eyes are fixed on the pages, but his mind is elsewhere. A voiceover begins as the camera slowly pans across the room, highlighting personal photos, letters, and a tattered family portrait pinned to the wall.
